4,100 miles for the wrong man...

A sheriff from Kentucky picks up the wrong man in California after 4,100 mile drive.
Come on now. Someone should have done their homework. What a big waste of time and tax payer money.

Okay, this is a crazy story, but I do not fault the police entirely. Yes, I agree this is a complete waste of taxpayer money. But, the guy they are looking for is apparently a con man criminal. This is what con man criminals do. But I want to see the picture of both guys. I want to know if they even looked alike and if the sheriff compared the mug shot to the man he picked up. If no to that, then I give more fault to them.

Right! They should have held up mug shot and done finger print before the long trip back. Hey! That could have been done before the drove to pick him up in the first place. Clearly their system need ALOT of work. I wouldn't be happy if the were my tax dollars.
Who knows how the man taken for the ride feels. Guess he did get a free trip across the country
